Miaosen Jiang, M.Ed (ECE)

Kia ora! Ni hao! Lí hó! I come from Shenzhen, China. I now live in Rotorua.

I graduated from Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology with a Master of Early Childhood Education. As a male teacher, I encourage children to take on challenges with energy and enthusiasm, helping them build courage and resilience.

My passion for early childhood education comes from a deep belief that the first five years are the most important in every child’s development. I also love creating inspiring learning environments – I see the environment as the “third teacher”, offering children opportunities for exploration and wonder, sparking their curiosity and joy for learning. As the proverb says: “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”

I bring this conviction into my teaching every single day. I feel truly honoured to have met Eric and Julie, and to have the opportunity to join their wonderfully warm, professional, and vibrant team. Working alongside such dedicated and caring people is one of my greatest blessings.
