Janice Covell, B.Ed. (ECE)

It is with great excitement that I joined the team at The Ole Schoolhouse.

I am a mum to two children, now both adults.  It was when my youngest child and myself attended Playcentre that I recognised in myself a joy of teaching and caring for young children, so I trained as an early childhood teacher graduating in 2007.

Forging strong and responsive relationships with children and their families is the foundation upon which I teach.

One of my passions is for growing my own vegetables and I look forward to nurturing your children in understanding how to care for Papatūānuku so that she is health and able to provide for all of us.
