Puff Paint

Puff Paint

Just in case puff paint wasn’t cool enough, why not introduce piping to your little artists? No icing bags or fancy nibs required – you just need a resealeable bag and some scissors. A bit of mess, but SOOOOO much fun.

1 cup flour
1 cup salt
1 cup water
2 teaspoons baking powder

Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl then divide into smaller containers such as yoghurt pots. Add food colour or paint powder.

Blob the paint on cardboard and when the masterpiece is complete microwave the picture on high for 30 seconds or until it puffs up.

Be careful not to burn the painting. (Note: thinner card will take less time).
